For the season (2009-10) this curling program is for boys and girls aged 12 to 21. New this Year Junior curling is being moved back Mondays (ice time is 4:15 to 6:00) and still have Wednesdays.(Ice times are 3:45 to 5:15). Mondays will be League Play-Teams setup.Wednesdays this year will be more to have fun(instruction will be for this time slot). Coachs are encouraged to work with their teams at this time. All levels of curling ability are represented, from beginner to Provincial representatives.
Junior curling registration is at the Port Arthur Curling Club, throughout the month of September. The fee is still $50.00 for the season.
Junior Novice curling clinic begins on October 14th,and October 16th, 2009. From 4:00pm to 5:00pm each day. Regular Curling(League Play) Starts Oct.19th Monday @ 4:10pm to 6:00pm.Everyone is welcome.
Hey Juniors in High School! Need your volunteer Hours?
Help out on Saturday Morning with the "Sticks and Stones" Program at 9:00am. Could get up to 30 hours for 10 weeks. Will have time to throw rocks after for practice. Contact Joe Zsakai @ 344-2857 or at the Club.
